Presenting at the SACOSAN conference 2016

SACOSAN 2016Last week Max Foundation’s Country Director, Riad Imam Mahmud, was invited by the Bengali government to speak at the sixth conference on Sanitation (Sacosan-VI) - the region’s leading water and sanitation hygiene (WASH) forum. It took place in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka from 11-13 January, 2016. As this is a leading conference within our field, Max Foundation was honoured to have been invited to present our learnings on the MaxWASH programme.

“It was quite exiting to have participated this week, Riad told us. “The great thing was to meet the Professor Robert Chambers, the great contributor of CLTS ((Community-based Total Led Sanitation), and inventor of PRA approach. We were able to share with him our experiences with Stunting free villages. It felt very rewarding hearing his appreciation for our innovative approach.”
