600.000.000 liter clean drinking water for developing countries

On World Water Day, 20/03/2015, Made Blue announces in Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam the realization of 600.000.000 liters clean drinking water for developing countries in Bangladesh, Kenya, Indonesia and Ethiopia. Thanks to the support of Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City CentreAquafoxBundles and Fokker Terminal.

A lot of new organisations are joining Made Blue. Participating companies and organizations mirror their water consumption by investing in safe water projects in developing countries. Companies and organizations become aware of their water footprint, invest in their brand value and contribute to access to safe water in other parts of the world.

The water projects are implemented by experienced and efficient non-governmental organisations in the Netherlands, like Simavi, Max Foundation, Amref Flying Doctors and Cordaid. In 2015, World Vision joined Made Blue as well.
