Huib Morelisse (1964) former CEO of Nuon. "Max Foundation reminds me of what Anne Frank once said: 'How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.' And so it is. No mountain is too high to climb, you just have to start climbing. That is how Max Foundation once started and how they still work or, keep climbing. Willemijn Verloop (1970) founded War Child in 1995. Under her leadership War Child Holland grew from a very small organisation to one of the best known non-profit organisations in the Dutch market. Currently she is Vice President of War Child, a member of the advisory board of ASN Bank and Ashoka Nederland, founder of Social Enterprise NL and Social Impact Ventures NL, board member of Achmea Foundation and member of the supervisory board of Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam. “I am convinced of the need for a sharp focus to reach maximum impact. It is great to see that Max Foundation discovered a niche in Bangladesh with their own specific MAX-WASH approach which leads to remarkable results.”  

Lucas Meijs (1963) is a professor of volunteering, civil society and businesses at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), and a professor of strategic philanthropy at ERIM's Erasmus Centre for Strategic Philanthropy (ECSP). “My current research focuses on issues related to strategic philanthropy, volunteer/non-profit management, corporate community involvement, business-society partnerships, voluntary energy as a natural resource, re-embedding voluntary energy, student-volunteering and involved learning (life-long development by volunteering). I my research I always focus on effiency and effectiveness. Max Foundation is a beautiful example of efficiency which I gladly support.”
